Ashleigh is an experienced clinical social worker and therapist who specializes in working primarily with individuals who are 55+, though she enjoys seeing adults of all ages. Her specialty areas of practice include: anxiety, depression, major life changes and role reversal, complicated grief and loss, complex trauma, end of life planning, terminal prognoses, physical and cognitive health changes, and caregiver stress and burnout. Ashleigh uses an eclectic approach using a combination of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) - trained, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Ashleigh is in the process of becoming EMDR certified. Ashleigh also provides supervision for provisionally licensed clinicians within the practice and at other healthcare organizations.
Ashleigh attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education and Human Sciences with minors in Gerontology and Psychology, then went on to obtain her Master’s of Social Work degree and Gerontology Certificate at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She has worked in a variety of settings, including an in-patient geriatric psychiatric unit, an outpatient behavioral health clinic, long-term care, hospice, and memory care facilities.
Ashleigh is also the facilitator for our Cancer Support Group and Grief & Loss Support Group.

Summer is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in trauma and crisis. Driven by a passion for empowering families and fostering recovery, Summer is currently advancing their skills through Applied Behavior Analysis certification.
With hands-on experience supporting adolescents at the Youth Rehabilitation Treatment Center in Hastings, Summer brings a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy for children, teens, adults, and older adults. Their expertise spans substance use, mood and personality disorders, autism, ADHD, trauma, grief, and self-harm.
Summer is dedicated to creating a safe, affirming space for all clients, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community. By blending evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) - trained, and narrative therapy with multicultural perspectives, Summer helps individuals and families build resilience, embrace change, and thrive.

Jane is a Licensed Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has a passion for supporting area youth, adults, and families. Jane uses an integrated therapy approach with evidence-based practices, allowing for optimal treatment outcomes. This includes principles of Child-Centered Play therapy (CCPT), Directive Play Therapy (DPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Jane is also a Play Therapist - Trained and is working toward her certification!
Before coming to the Hastings area, Jane provided therapy services in an outpatient capacity, working with individuals of all ages. She also provided school-based services, focusing on ages two to twelve. Jane has experience providing services to individuals with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Attachment Disorders, ODD, and OCD.

Barb is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and has several years of experience as a therapist in Hastings and surrounding communities. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Administration from Hastings College and her
Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Barb has worked in a variety of settings. She has worked in private practice in Hastings since 2013. She has worked in several nursing facilities in Nebraska, assisting residents with their mental health needs while also traveling to individual homes in rural areas.
She has worked in school settings with young people and in a residential treatment facility. She has provided mental health services for Employee Assistance Programs in the area.
She specializes in depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma (she is EMDR trained), self-esteem, boundary-setting, and navigating a relationship with a friend or family member who struggles with an addiction. She
utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Bibliotherapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy.
